As a professional educator I have spent the past 17 years teaching in public and private schools.  I am  state certified teacher with a master's degree in Educational Leadership. My passion for instilling a love of learning in students is as strong as ever.  Having two children in college I pursued a unique opportunity to become a private teacher which allows me to work with one to three students at a time. The growth and confidence I've seen in my students has given me a new vision and approach to helping families and schools teach elementary aged students. Many students and families have experienced gaps in student achievement due to ill-advised Covid policies.  As a highly effective teacher I have switched gears from classroom teaching to private tutor, homeschool teacher, and private school consultant. This has provided the opportunity to reach more students, homeschool families and offer support to classroom teachers who are struggling to help their students make academic gains.
